Don’t see Madonna
Madonna was two hours late to the show and even told us a queen is never late. Most of the music was her new stuff which I didn’t really care for. I’m a child of the 80s and love listening to Madonna. Madonna stopped mid show to auction off a Polaroid of herself for $5000 for her charity. We were excited to find out last minute that Madonna was in Vegas so we jumped at the chance to buy tickets. Madonna was supposed to start at 10:30 and we arrived and seated by 9:30. They took our cell phones and locked them into Yondr pouches so people wouldn’t record the show. The only songs I enjoyed was her 80s classics. Tons of fans in the crowd were chanting “Refund”. The show ended by 230 and we had an 8 o’clock flight the next morning. Madonna was not apologetic. Madonna also stopped frequently to talk politics. I’m not sure I would’ve gone to see her if I knew it was going to be two hours late. We recently went to Gwen Stephani in Vegas and had an awesome time. I appreciate and understand Madonna using her platform to promote social awareness, however I didn’t pay a large sum of money to attend a political rally. I’m ok with that as long as it improves the experience. Why can’t Madonna do the same for her fans? Never seen this happen before. Too bad Madonna has lost sight of what it means to entertain.
